The general purpose of the project is to describe the taxonomical composition of the groups of land vertebrates that inhabit the main ecosystems associated with the Orinoco Delta region, as well as the analysis of the patterns of wildlife use by the creole and Warao populations. In addition, the project seeks to recommend guidelines for the conservation of the biota of the Orinoco Delta Biosphere Reserve.
