This project promotes community actions for prevention and control of malaria within the native community Ye ‘kwana Boca de Nichare (Caura river, Venezuela), through: a) including educational content about malaria in the current school curriculum for basic education in the subjects of math, natural sciences, and social studies, b) the use of mosquito nets and the evaluation of their impact in the home level epidemiological casuistry, and c) support to entomological surveillance.
